This weekend, St. Vincent’s Home was alive with joy, prayer, and purpose as we hosted a powerful Oblate Youth Encounter!
Young people from across the region came together to celebrate faith, deepen friendships, and grow in the Oblate spirit of service. Through inspiring talks, group sharing, prayer moments, and joyful fellowship, we were reminded of our call to be missionaries of compassion and hope.
A special word of thanks to Shanil Jayawardena OMI, our dynamic Oblate Youth Director, for his leadership and inspiring presence. We are also deeply grateful to all the Oblate Fathers and Brothers who joined hands to make this encounter a grace-filled experience for everyone.
Let us continue to live out the spirit of St. Eugene de Mazenod:
“We must lead others to act like human beings, then like Christians, and finally, we must help them to become saints.”
