St. Vincent’s Tacony has a long history of meeting the needs of children, youth and families. In collaboration with The Department of Human Services and the Community Behavior Health agency, we provide institutional and group home Mother/Baby/Maternity services and Long Term Placement programs for teenage girls. In addition we have an Emergency Shelter service for girls and a Family Preservation program seeking to return girls to their families. For children in our neighboring community, we operate a Day Care/Early Childhood program. St. Vincent’s operates under the auspices of Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and has served over 10,000 families over the past 150 years.
